Bitcoin ETFs Rack Up 9-Day, $3.1B Inflow Streak—But Ether and Zcash Just Flipped Red
US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) notched a ninth straight day of net inflows on Tuesday, pulling in $66.2 million and lifting the streak’s total to roughly $3.1 billion, according to data cited by Cointelegraph from SoSoValue. The report also said year-to-date net inflows for the group rose to roughly $1 billion.
Ether streak breaks; Zcash turns negative
Cointelegraph reported that spot Ether ETFs posted about $3 million in net outflows on Tuesday, ending a seven-day inflow run. Over those seven sessions, the funds had attracted more than $851 million, bringing cumulative net inflows to about $14 billion, per the same report. Earlier in the week, Cointelegraph said Zcash ETFs snapped a six-day inflow streak after recording $8 million in net outflows on Monday.
Market tone cools as energy prices loom
At the time of publication, Bitcoin traded near $83,567, down 0.4% over 24 hours, according to CoinGecko, while Alternative.me’s Crypto Fear & Greed Index eased to 71 from 73 a day earlier, remaining in “Greed.”
“The rise in crude prices is capping non-yielding assets, so Bitcoin’s rally has taken a bit of a pause,” Kyle Rodda, a senior financial market analyst at Capital.com, told Cointelegraph. Rodda added that Bitcoin could struggle to regain momentum while energy-price risks persist, though its technical picture remained “quite constructive.”
